Due to the nature of the business and the way information can change weekly, especially in the current economic and banking climate, we do not send out hardcopy literature (excluding application documents). As you can imagine the moment it is printed it could be out of date.

For a year or so now such words as 'recycle' and 'carbon footprint' have been the focus of many television programmes, radio interviews and newspaper articles. This is hardly surprising as waste from office premises alone forms 6% of the 434 million tonnes of total solid waste produced annually in the UK.

Industry and commerce produced about 75 million tonnes of waste in 1998/99 in England and Wales. In that year 68% of commercial waste was landfilled, 4% was incinerated and 29% was recycled or composted

• We use email to send 80% of our invoices via PDF.
• All packaging waste is recycled
• Cardboard boxes are reused
• Shred waste paper or use scrap paper for notebooks in the office
• Catalogues, directories and envelopes are specially recycled
• Reuse envelopes for internal circulation
• Photocopiers and printers are set to default to double sided printing
• Ask suppliers to take back old electrical items when delivering a new one
• Donate old computer equipment to local schemes or schools
• Recycle mobile phones, toners and printer cartridges
